Amourtalks Review: Legit Dating or Expensive Credit Chat?

Amourtalks

Amourtalks is a real, operating conversation and dating platform — but it is not a normal free dating app where you match, chat casually and arrange a date without watching the clock.

Its central business model is paid communication. The official FAQ says live chat costs credits per minute, while sending or opening media and using other features can consume further credits. That creates a very different experience from a subscription app: every promising conversation has a meter running in the background.

My verdict: Amourtalks may suit adults who knowingly want international conversation, are patient, and can set a strict entertainment budget. But it is a poor choice if your real aim is local dating, free messaging, fast contact exchange or a clear route from chatting to meeting someone in person.

Evidence checked — July 2026

  • Official site, terms, pricing and FAQ.
  • Trustpilot score, notices and recurring review pattern.
  • Public company replies about verification, credits and meeting offline.
  • Reviewer claims are individual allegations, not independently proven facts.

Amourtalks at a Glance

Is Amourtalks legit?
It appears to be a genuine operating platform rather than a redirect domain or a fake “review” funnel. But a real operating business is not automatically good value for dating. Its credit-based model makes it more like a paid communication platform than a conventional app.

Is Amourtalks free?
Registration may be free or include introductory access, but meaningful use is not free. The official FAQ says live chat costs 2 credits per minute, while extra actions such as media and mail also use credits.

How does Amourtalks make money?
Through credits. Live chat costs 2 credits per minute; stickers cost 10 credits; sending a photo costs 30 credits; opening a received photo costs 30 credits; and sending or reading mail costs 20 credits.

Can you realistically meet someone?
Possibly, but it is not the clearest route. Amourtalks has said publicly that members can continue conversations off-platform or meet once both people are comfortable. However, several reviewers describe difficulty progressing beyond paid chat or exchanging contact details.

What is the main risk?
Open-ended spending. A conversation that feels promising can become expensive long before you know whether the other person is local, serious, compatible or genuinely willing to meet.

What Amourtalks Actually Is

Amourtalks presents itself as a place for conversation, cultural diversity and making connections with new people. The emphasis is less on swipe-based local dating and more on messaging, browsing profiles and spending time talking.

That can appeal to people who are tired of Tinder-style nonsense and want more than one-word replies. But the platform’s structure matters. It is not built around unlimited messaging after a match. The model is based on credits, so communication itself is the paid product.

That means you should judge it differently from a mainstream dating app. The question is not just whether there are interesting people on it. The better question is whether the cost of discovering who is genuine, compatible and realistically available is worth it for you.

Amourtalks Pricing: Why the Per-Minute Model Matters

The official FAQ gives a clearer picture of the cost mechanics than the homepage does. Live chat costs 2 credits per minute. Sending a sticker costs 10 credits. Sending a photo costs 30 credits, and opening a received photo costs another 30 credits. Mail also costs 20 credits to send and 20 credits to read.

That is a lot of paid friction around what would be basic dating-app behaviour elsewhere.

A 30-minute live chat uses 60 credits before you send a photo, read mail or use any other paid feature. A conversation can therefore become expensive simply because it is enjoyable — which is precisely why you need a spending limit before you get emotionally invested.

I could verify the current feature costs in credits, but I would not treat any advertised credit-pack discount as permanent. Check the checkout page before you pay, calculate the actual cost per credit, and work out what a typical hour of chatting would cost you in real money.

The Real Problem: A Dating Goal Can Turn Into a Chat Budget

Credit platforms are not automatically scams. Some adults knowingly pay for online conversation, roleplay, language practice or companionship and enjoy it.

But dating becomes a poor deal when the person paying believes every exchange is naturally moving toward a phone number, a video call, a coffee or a real date — while the service earns more when the conversation stays inside the platform.

That does not prove any individual member is dishonest. It simply means the commercial incentive is not perfectly aligned with your goal if your goal is to meet in real life quickly.

Think of it like a taxi meter. You may be going somewhere worthwhile, but you should know where you are headed before you agree to keep driving in circles.

Can You Take Conversations Off Amourtalks?

Amourtalks has said in public Trustpilot replies that members can continue chatting off-platform or meet in person once both people are comfortable. So I could not verify an official rule saying that real meetings are forbidden.

That is important. It means Amourtalks should not automatically be classed as a fantasy-only or virtual-profile platform where dates are impossible by design.

However, that is not the same as proving that meeting is common, easy or likely. One visible Trustpilot reviewer said conversation was engaging but complained that it was difficult to exchange contact information even after talking for a long time. Another questioned whether there was a practical route from mutual interest to getting off the site.

My practical advice is simple: establish the basics early. Ask where someone is based, what they are looking for, whether they are open to a future video call, and whether meeting is genuinely realistic. Do not spend weeks paying for increasingly intimate conversation without clarity.

Verification, New-Member Attention and Profile Authenticity

Amourtalks has said in company replies that profiles are verified and that verification is part of its effort to keep the community authentic. That is a positive claim, but the public information I checked does not fully explain how every verification badge works, what is checked, or how frequently profiles are reassessed.

One Trustpilot reviewer reported receiving a large number of chat requests from much younger women despite having an almost empty profile. Amourtalks replied that new members may receive greater initial visibility through an “introductory visibility system” to help them start connecting.

That response does not prove the profiles were fake. Nor does the review prove that they were. But it is a useful warning sign: do not mistake early attention for evidence of genuine interest, compatibility or a realistic chance of meeting.

Use the same standards you would anywhere else. Look for a detailed profile, consistent conversation, sensible location information, willingness to answer ordinary questions and, where appropriate, a live video call before you spend heavily.

What the Terms Say About Linked Websites

Amourtalks’ terms state that it may create registrations for members on certain “Linked Websites” operated by the company or affiliated companies, with the stated aim of providing matching opportunities. The terms also refer to third-party providers and affiliate marketing partners.

That does not mean every profile is fake, AI-run or controlled by staff. There is no basis for making that leap from the clause alone.

It does mean you should read the terms before joining, particularly if you care about where your data may be used, whether an account could operate across a related network, and how broadly your registration may be applied.

What Trustpilot Reviews Actually Suggest

At the time checked, Amourtalks had a Trustpilot score of 4.1 out of 5 from a low-thirties number of reviews. That is not enough feedback to treat the score as a decisive verdict either way, especially as the company asks customers to review and many reviews were marked as invited.

The positive pattern in the reviews I checked was fairly consistent: some users liked the clean interface, polite chats, profile filters, lack of obvious spam and responsive support. A few users felt the conversations were more engaging than on other sites.

The negative pattern was more useful for someone considering spending money. Multiple reviewers complained that credits disappeared quickly, even in short chats. Others mentioned slow mobile performance, recurring re-authorisation, confusing account access, paid media and trouble progressing from messages to real-world contact.

The most important recurring issue was not a proven allegation of fake profiles. It was value for money. Even reviewers who liked the people they spoke to often questioned whether the credit cost made long-term use worthwhile.

Trustpilot reviews are individual experiences, not verified findings of fact. Still, the pattern is clear enough: Amourtalks may provide enjoyable conversation, but it can become an expensive way to pursue dating if you do not keep a tight grip on the credit spend.

Want Dates, Not Endless Credit Chat?

Amourtalks may be enjoyable for conversation, but it is a poor fit if you are paying by the minute without a realistic route to meeting.

Who Amourtalks Might Suit

  • Adults who genuinely enjoy online conversation and do not need a fast route to an offline date.
  • People interested in speaking with members from different places and backgrounds.
  • Users who understand credit systems and can set a strict budget before chatting.
  • People who treat paid chat as optional entertainment rather than a guaranteed dating investment.
  • Members willing to verify profiles carefully before spending more money.

Who Should Avoid Amourtalks

  • Anyone looking for free messaging or a normal monthly-subscription dating app.
  • People who want local dates, hookups or quick contact exchange.
  • Users on a tight budget who could be tempted to keep topping up credits.
  • Anyone who assumes a flattering chat automatically means a person is ready to meet.
  • People who have previously lost money on coin, credit or per-message dating sites.
  • Anyone who wants complete certainty about profile verification before they start talking.

How to Use Amourtalks More Safely

If you still decide to try Amourtalks, treat it as a paid service from the first minute rather than a free app with optional upgrades.

  • Set a hard budget before buying credits, and do not top up in the middle of an emotional conversation.
  • Check the real cost per credit at checkout rather than relying on percentage discounts.
  • Ask practical questions early: location, intentions, availability and whether meeting is realistic.
  • Do not send money, gifts, crypto or off-platform payments to another member.
  • Use reverse-image search and a live video call where appropriate before investing heavily.
  • Read the billing, refund and linked-website terms before entering payment details.

Amourtalks FAQ

Is Amourtalks a scam?
I would not call Amourtalks an outright scam based on the information I could verify. It is a functioning paid-chat platform with public terms, customer support and a visible review profile. But its per-minute credit system makes it poor value for many people seeking straightforward dating.

Does Amourtalks use fake profiles or AI chatbots?
I could not verify an official disclosure saying ordinary chats are AI-generated, virtual profiles or run by operators. Some users have raised authenticity concerns, but those are individual claims and should not be presented as proven fact.

Does Amourtalks charge for messages?
The official FAQ says live chat costs 2 credits per minute. It also charges credits for stickers, photos and mail-related features.

Can you meet people from Amourtalks in real life?
The company has said members can move conversations off-platform or meet once both people feel comfortable. But public reviews suggest that doing so may not always be easy, so do not assume paid chatting will naturally lead to a date.

Does Amourtalks have a monthly subscription?
Its visible model is credit-based rather than built around unlimited messaging through a simple subscription. Check the current checkout terms before paying, as packages and promotions can change.

What is the biggest Amourtalks red flag?
The main concern is not necessarily that every profile is fake. It is that paid, per-minute conversation can continue for a long time without producing a clear real-world outcome.

Final Verdict: Is Amourtalks Worth It?

Amourtalks is better understood as a paid conversation platform with dating potential than as a normal dating app.

The site may be enjoyable if you go in with your eyes open, enjoy international chat and are happy to pay for that experience. But the pricing model puts the burden on you to make sure the conversation is actually going somewhere.

If you want an uncomplicated route to local conversations, exchanged details and real dates, I would start elsewhere. There are better options than paying by the minute while wondering whether the person on the other side is ever going to leave the chat window.
