The overwhelming consensus? Fake profiles, bots pretending to be women, and shady practices designed to milk you for cash. Reviewers say they were duped into spending money on phony conversations with scripted bots. Many felt manipulated, ignored by customer service, and downright scammed.

💸 All Bots, No Babes
The #1 complaint from nearly every reviewer? The women on Yoomee aren’t real. They’re either chatbots or hired operators — and sometimes the app doesn’t even try to hide it.
Vidar Freddysson said:
“All profiles are chatbots that just want you to spend money. It’s a scam.”
Kazem Safari shared a painful experience:
“Everyone and everything is a bot. U can easily figure it out by asking questions and paying attention how the answers are irrelevant and completely missed a lot of the times. Lost $80 unfortunately.”
Andris Dombrovskis added:
“Total scam! I wish someone could investigate who is responsible for this and take it to justice.”
Costas had a surreal experience:
“I kept getting the same girl, blonde blowing a kiss, using different names. I kept blocking her, she kept on using different names every time.”
Roland Gregory kept it short and not-so-sweet:
“Big scam, fake profiles to scam your money!”

🔒 Paid Chats With “Entertainers”
Dig into Yoomee’s terms and conditions, and you’ll find the dirt hidden in plain sight. The app literally tells you you’re not chatting with real people, but with “professional entertainers and profile attendants.”
Peter blew the whistle:
“If you do get one sending you email and pics, they then want gift cards for video chat etc. I found it strange why I was getting soooo many messages… then I read their terms: ‘Operator employs professional entertainers and profile attendants to look after and entertain users.'”
Denis Curry wasn’t fooled:
“I give this app minus five… scamers take good advice and delete this app.”
Henrik Nilsen summed up the whole thing beautifully:
“You have to pay to message people. Despite that, those you speak with aren’t willing to switch to another app where it’s free to talk. Most of the photos look like Yoomee stole a bunch of Myspace profiles in 2007.”
Michael Nowlan added:
“Absolutely a scam. I even tried to contact support but that’s a scam in of itself.”
Shaun Craig just screamed what we’re all thinking:
“SCAM!!!!!!!”
🕵️♂️ Company Shenanigans
Want to know where Yoomee’s HQ is? You’re not ready for this one.
Tomb revealed the shocking truth:
“The Company is based in Cameroon in Africa. If that doesn’t make you think again before joining then you are a mug!”
Paul opened up emotionally:
“Recovering from cancer and stuck at home, I reached out and was fleased by this African based company, please don’t get involved 😢”
Allen Fogleson noticed the scripts repeating themselves:
“There are obviously bots or foreign people acting as locals… several times I received the same text: ‘i dont understand your question. explain me’.”
Ricky Smith regretted spending money:
“Totally fake no real people I paid 90 dollars 💯 fake”
Khaled SK kept it real:
“People in this Yoomee app are fake!!!!!!! they auto response, I swear”
