How this redirect scam works
If you’ve ever seen one of these names pop up in a Trustpilot “review” and thought about checking it out — good job stopping to Google it first.
You probably just avoided wasting money.
Here’s the playbook these operators use:
- They plant fake “reviews” or complaints on sites like Trustpilot.
- In the middle of the rant, they casually mention a domain that “actually worked” — something like j2sex.com or affhotty.com.
- You type it in out of curiosity, expecting a real site…
- But instead it redirects you straight to one of a handful of scammy hookup platforms.
Once you land there, it’s always the same: a pay-per-chat platform full of fake profiles, bots, and endless prompts to buy credits.
You’ll waste time, money, and get nothing in return.
The whole setup is designed to look like word-of-mouth when really it’s just a bait funnel built to exploit desperate clicks.
